Unity is a unit converter that is like no other - because it's built with simplicity in mind. Unity is also powerful - with over 600 conversion types to choose from already, and more arriving with every update.
Unity can reliably convert units in 18 categories including Angles, Area, Capacitance, Clothing, Currency/Crypto, Data, Data Rates, Distance, Energy, Mileage, Power, Pressure, Speed, Temperature, Time, Typography, Volume and Weight.
You can also save your regular conversions as favourites by tapping the icon on the conversion view and then see them right on the home screen for easy access. Well, there's more important things to do with your day than search for pennyweights and millifarads.
Currency rates are updated every 60 seconds on our reliable servers. Rates are downloaded on startup and can be refreshed at any time from the conversion view. It also has up to date currency graphs to show how rates have changed over the past week, month three months or year.
Using your location, Unity also creates a local currency conversion to your home currency which is easily accessible from the home screen. Or build your own conversion that includes all the currencies for the countries you're visiting on your next trip!
You can set the number of decimal points you would like conversions to be calculated too, work in negative numbers and use the built in calculator for more complex conversions for the highest precision.
As well as the huge range of units already built in, we are happy to add any unit to the app to keep our loyal users happy - just get in touch!

We've been busy squashing bugs and adding a few more exciting features!
- We've added 99 cryptocurrencies to our currency conversions!
- We've improved on Currency Rate graphs to allow you to choose between history for 7 days, 1 month, 3 months or 1 year.
- We've spruced up the styling around the app & squashed a few layout bugs.
- We've fixed some bugs in our currency rate mechanism that have arisen from the UK leaving the EU.
- You can now choose the theme of Unity in Settings!
- You can now update your location directly from your Apple Watch!
- We've added an input keyboard back to the Apple Watch app to make conversions much easier!
- You can now update currency rates directly from your Apple Watch!
- We've fixed an Error with energy conversions to/from BTU.
For all of you that have made other feature requests - don't worry, they're on their way!
